Currently, using Find Patient in ED Tracker will only display patient accounts for the specific facility. Using Find Patient in Acute Status Board displays patients for all facilities.
With this change, Find Patient in ED Tracker will display patients for all facilities. Once the chart is open, you may be prompted to select a specific account.

Working with physicians for each area, we will be creating new order sets to improve efficiency and streamline the current order sets.
The new order sets will be labelled with “preclick” at the end of the order set name. Please note that all existing order sets will still be available.
Changes such as pre-selecting orders, collapsing/expanding sections and moving sections will be in scope of the blitz.
Content changes (e.g. med changes) will be out of scope.

Health Records will be sending a monthly letter to Workload with a list of any outstanding HIM deficiencies. The following material is available on the Physician Education Website for resolving deficiencies.
Admitting Provider for C-Section Newborn Admissions
The OB/GYN will no longer be listed as the Admitting Provider for C-Section newborn admissions. Since the GP OB will be the Admitting and Attending Provider, the surgeons will no longer have newborns on their Rounds List.
